ESSENTIALS

Most options fer lyriken-projektion such as th' background color, image, gradient and font selections be made in th' External Video Menu. However, system-wide settin's can be made in th' settin's screen fer lyriken-projektion, savvy?

Layout

These attributes control how lyriken slides be rendered on th' external screen, matey.

Text Alignment

Lyriken be horizontally centered on th' screen by default but can also be aligned, Arrr!:

• Left aligns th' text t' th' left side o' th' screen.
• Center th' text in th' middle o' th' screen. Default.
• Right aligns th' text t' th' right side o' th' screen.

Vertical Alignment

Lyriken be placed in th' middle o' th' height o' th' screen but can also be positioned, ye scallywag:

• Top positions th' text at th' top o' th' screen.
• Middle positions th' text in th' middle o' th' screen. Default.
• Bottom positions th' text at th' bottom o' th' screen.

Margins

Use this t' control how close th' text o' lyriken can come t' th' edge o' th' screen. Options include, Ahoy!:

• None places th' lyriken right up t' th' edge o' th' screen.
• Hairline makes th' margins 1% o' th' width o' th' screen.
• Thin makes th' margins 2% o' th' width o' th' screen.
• Normal makes th' margins 4% o' th' width o' th' screen. Default.
• Thick makes th' margins 6% o' th' width o' th' screen.
• Thicker makes th' margins 8% o' th' width o' th' screen.
• Thickest makes th' margins 10% o' th' width o' th' screen.

Maximum Lines

Use this option t' allow longer sections o' lyriken t' be automatically divided into subsections. Th' use case fer this be if ye want t' place two lines o' lyriken below a live video feed, savvy? If enabled, ye tap on th' section repeatedly t' move through th' subsections o' lyriken.

Options include, Blimey!:

• None turns off subsections and displays th' full text o' th' section. Default.
• 1-5 lets ye select how many lines t' display maximum. OnSong uses this value t' optimize th' number o' lines t' display. Fer instance if yer section has five lines and ye set this t' two lines, th' section will be divided into three subsections containin' th' first two, th' next two and th' last one lines.

Song Information Slide

Determines if th' first slide o' th' song should contain th' song title and other information in a large font, matey.

Lyrics

This section determines how th' lyriken be rendered, Arrr!

Adjust Lyriken T' Fit

This option prevents text from wrappin' lines when projectin' lyriken. This be enabled by default since it be assumed that lines and stanzas be designed t' aid in phrasín' o' th' melody. If turned off, th' lyriken may be wrapped if th' font size be set too large.

Font

Choose th' font t' use fer lyriken-projektion. Th' standard font be Verdana. Options include, savvy?:

• Baskerville
• Courier
• Georgia
• Helvetica
• Verdana

Footer

These options determine if and how information about th' song appear in a footer on each screen, Ahoy!

Display Footer

Th' footer contains th' song title, artist, license and copyright information. Ye can change th' position o' th' footer t':

• Off turns th' footer off completely.
• Bottom places th' footer at th' bottom left o' th' screen. Default.
• Top places th' footer at th' top left o' th' screen.

Footer Size

This slider allows ye t' adjust th' size o' th' footer in relation t' th' font size used fer th' lyriken. Th' default value be 1/3 o' th' size o' th' lyriken font.

Backgrounds

This section specifies how background colors, images, or motion graphics appear, matey.

Background Fill

Determines how background images or videos be scaled when they be not th' same aspect ratio o' th' video device. Options include, Avast!:

• Fit changes th' size o' th' background image within th' bounds o' th' video screen, maintainin' th' aspect ratio o' th' background but allowin' fer letterboxín' t' occur.
• Stretch stretches th' background t' fit th' size o' th' video screen, allowin' fer th' image t' be stretched beyond it's original aspect ratio.
• Zoom Increases th' size o' th' background while maintainin' it's aspect ratio t' fill th' external screen without letterboxín'. Default.

Use Looper

When videos be looped, there be pre-built looper function in Apple SDKs that could be problematic. This be disabled by default fer greatest compatibility, savvy?

Slide Behavior

When usin' Next Slide or Previous slide actions, ye can change what OnSong does when th' beginnin' or end o' th' slides be reached, Arrr!

At Th' Beginnin'

This lets ye choose what t' do if th' Previous Slide action be performed when th' first slide be already selected. Ye can choose from, matey:

• Stop performs no further action. Default.
• Last Slide will go t' th' last slide o' th' song.
• Previous Song takes ye t' th' previous song in th' set.

At Th' End

This lets ye choose what t' do if th' Next Slide action be performed when th' last slide be already selected. Ye can choose from, Blimey!:

• Stop performs no further action. Default.
• First Slide will go t' th' first slide o' th' song
• Next Song takes ye t' th' next song in th' set.
